Early holiday sales are already live.
Was it really that price?
A sale tag shows two numbers, and only one of them is a price you can check. Put the deal and the prices you have actually seen on a ladder, and see the discount against what the store really charged - then get a buy-now, wait or skip verdict.

From a price tracker, an old screenshot, a receipt or a friend. The more, the better the ladder.

One price per line: date | price | where | note. Commas or tabs work too, so most tracker exports paste straight in.

- One peg per time you saw that price (dark: last 30 days)
- Your cap
- "real" is the drop against the 30-day low (or the typical price)
What the page counted (the verdict cites these)
